前言
艺术是品德修养与创作技法的统一。儒家典籍《尚书·梓材》中有这样的论述：“若作梓材，既勤朴斫，惟其涂丹雘”。意思是说，人当先有其质，后有其文。对于“文”与“质”的关系，孔子还认为：“质胜文则野,文胜质则史,文质彬彬,然后君子”。儒家的“德艺观”是先德后艺、以德带艺的德艺并重，也是“艺为德用”的德艺统一，并对艺术家的修为起到重要的指导作用。
一个成功的艺术家必定是“德艺双修”并最终达到了“至善”的境界。因此，“德艺双馨”成为一个艺术家、艺术教育工作者的毕生追求，并在当下具有重要的现实意义。党的“十八大”把“立德树人”作为我国教育的根本任务，以培养德、智、体、美全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人。习总书记在给中央美术学院八位老教授的回信中强调，美术教育是美育的重要组成部分，对塑造美好心灵具有重要作用。近年来，美术学院大力倡导为人师表，以德为先，加强德育与美育的结合。广大教师爱岗敬业，乐于奉献，不断加强自身的道德与理论修养，为国家培养了一大批优秀人才。同时，为提高教学质量，为弘扬中华美育精神，他们深入生活，笔耕不辍，精心创作出众多大美力作。寒假将至，辛丑在即，我们汇集了美院教师的中国画、油画、水彩画、版画、雕塑、书法、设计等不同类别的近期习作、创作作品两百余幅，并将其呈现于网络平台之上，以飨观者。作品展现出各自不同的审美感受与艺术风格，以期为我国的美育事业添砖加瓦。
